No sacrifice to the quality of visuals? I cant really believe it, anything in VR which is far away looks blurry which does not on a regular flat screen

Cyberpunk 2077 in VR is one of the best gaming experiences easily, but you need a monster PC. I got a 3090, but you need more like a 4090 to have almost clean graphics. I will wait for the 5090.

Alien Isolation in vr is worth it! It still makes me scream at the top of my lungs when the xeno finds me lmao. Also you really get a sense of the Xenomorph and Sevastopol stations true scale it’s just perfect in vr.

My first playthrough was with an OG Quest, on a 2080, using Virtual Desktop and VorpX on a ShadowPC. I knew I was gonna play this game in VR B4 it was even out...

Immersive is just 1 out of 10,000 of vr true capability. People still comparing it to 3d glasses is obvious enough they had never tried one😅

Been waiting on a video from you on this VR experience for the longest time and the wait was 100% worth it! I’m more than 130 hours into the game and not only have I still not finished either the DLC or the main story, but I am also 100% ready to replay this in vr first chance I get. Gaaaaaah I can’t wait to get a quest 3 and have my first vr experience one of these days.

Hows the motion sickness?

I played the full game and DLC in VR with the LukeRoss mod. It’s amazing! But you do need to tinker with the mod settings and the graphics to optimize the experience and the visuals so it’s the best for you. I never found sniping very easy because you eye w it h your head movement. Anyway, great video. I tried this mod on Spider-Man Remastered but it keeps crashing. Your mileage may vary on mods like this.

If we can't play it with full motion controller support. At least we can experience the beautiful worlds like vr. Like we are really there. That's the real immersion.

I am definitely planning on trying this out once my Pimax Crystal Light headset comes in. I already have the mod Installed. My PC Specs are i7-12700K 32GB DDR4 16TB M.2 SSD RTX 4090 1000w I hope my Rig is strong enough to handle this mod...?

What VR players really want is the quality of regular gaming in VR. Way too many of the good VR games are only made by small indie game studios, and while many may be good at just one thing, its like they didn't learn from what was good about others and they don't build from that. Its also a very niche market, and its harder to develop for VR than flatscreen. Personally, the only VR games I would play without motion controls would be VR sims like Assetto Corsa, where its better played on wheel. Basically games that have better, more immersive peripheral options.

As much as I wanna play this so badly, all I got is a Xbox and a quest 3🙏🏼😭

My whole issue now is the fact that I don't wanna play games that aren't VR. The experience is just nothing in comparison. The only issue I have is keeping my Queat 3 headset fully charged. For some reason, the battery level still lowers even plugged into pc.

This is sick, currently also playing this in VR. Video hyped me up to continue tomorrow.

Irgendwie peinlich. Die Leute sitzen am Schreibtisch und zocken mit Maus und Tastatur oder Controller und berauben sich sämtlicher Freiheiten die VR bietet und erzählen dann irgendein müll von dem besten VR Spiel! Für manche zählt halt echt nur die Optik!

How does it look in the headset compared to native VR games? I've tried a few VR ports of games and I always had problems with weird visual artifacts and really low resolution

Alot of what's said in this video really hits the nail on the head. Immersion is a truly integral part of games. I honestly believe that games should have more pointless mechanics. Growing up the one thing that would always sell people on a game, was natural immersion. Growing up playing through a section; coming up with solutions that in theory would work but didn't simply because the devs couldn't or just didn't program it in, always sucked. Any time a game did, let you do exactly what you imagined it immediately became a peak moment. Think about the first time you played a game that had a soccer mini game, that was just a field you stumbled upon in mission. They never needed to allow you to play with the soccer equipment, but they did, and we all spent way too much time playing it.

this is another example of why VR as an attraction will never reach the same levels of success as personal VR devices. the ideal VR experience is one where physical calories do not need to be burned to perform virtual actions

guess ill try it on my 4090 with bigscreen beyond but doubt it will run too well other 2d to 3d games i tried always had issues. Edit: tried it looks like a lot of worble/ghosting like doubling of image around characters its rather annoying.

Wait, if your hands are all animated, are you able to grab things and shoot things? Or do you just point and aim with fully animated guns that you can’t do anything with except shoot?

This is the kind of VR quality that I had hoped I'd be getting on a regular basis at this point on PSVR2. It's crazy to me that we still need to rely on modders to create these VR versions of games like Cyberpunk, GTA, Far Cry, Portal 2 ect ect. August can't come soon enough so I can get that link cable and try this stuff out finally.

Having to aim in a situation of panic making sure you don't hit a frozen human, or take the most natural, everyday position before masquerading as a mannequin are things that you can only do in VR. And really give a breath of life to this kind of games. Great idea, want to see this have success.

Next games to try are definitely Hogwarts Legacy and Atomic Heart with the UEVR mod. You will not regret it.

How did you do it with the quest 3? I tried with questlink cable, but the quality was so bad with ghosting. I was so disappointed. My computer is gen 13 with a rtx490

title on point, none of the best VR games are VR games lol... re4, skyrim, fallout 4, no mans sky, gta 5, cyberpunk, red dead 2, wow, ffxiv, hogwarts legacy and many more that are ported or modded to be played in VR are the best VR games lol

I play in VR on the Q3 some, often for sightseeing... but controls are clunky, the game is just not designed for VR.
