The conflict between Kosovo and Serbia is a lie from beginning to end. There was no ethnic cleansing. This is a myth that was spread by the Western media at the request of the authorities. Moreover, NATO supported outright criminals and terrorists, whose main business was drug trafficking and trafficking in human organs (Serbian).

I agree that it's pushing "loop" down our throats but atleast it's well arranged. Good music, cinematography, no talking etc. Just lots of beautiful casts with great scenery and well placed soundtrack. I find it inspiring

Hola, I just saw this. It is all true. My wife and I spent the best 12 days with Eduardo and his family. The food was amazing. The wood fired hot tub showed me the Southern Cross. Monte & Jose were amazing guides. The hose back fishing day greeted us with fish and a steak loin campfire lunch with wine. Oh, and I caught over 50 fish, browns and bows, on streamers and dry flys.

Christopher, curious, how do you achieve that consistent "pointed loop" on all your casts?? thanks Jim
@averageloops15748 жыл бұрын
Hello Jim, the "pointiness" and tightness of Christopher's loops are exaggerated by the viewer's perspective. Note how he casts with his rod canted outward at roughly 45 degrees from his body. When filmed/viewed from the side, the loops appear narrower because the line is actually unfurling at an angle to the viewer - i.e. the loop is not unfurling with the top half directly above the bottom. It is, in fact, a lopsided loop. Don't get me wrong - his casting is excellent. However, the side-on angle of some of the filming distorts things.
@averageloops15748 жыл бұрын
Hello Jon, I wasn't "high" when I wrote that, and I'm sure you'll agree there's no need to be insulting, regardless of how much you might disagree with my comment. Let me put the crux of my argument another way: If I am standing on the bank opposite Christoper, watching him while he casts up and down the river, and he proceeds to cast with his rod canted at roughly 45 degress to his body, and the loops he creates proceed to unfurl at roughly 45 degrees to his body, the loops (viewed side-on) will appear narrower to me than if I was to observe them from either behind or in front of Christopher as he casts. This is a fact, and it relates to distance, perspective and depth perception (i.e. how we observe a three-dimensional world). Do not misunderstand me; I am not trying to diminish Chrstopher's obvious exemplorary abilities as a fly caster. I am merely trying to account for why his loops appear so impossibly narrow (or "tight") in much of the video. It is due to the camera's perspective.
@jimknowles54833 жыл бұрын
Average loops, no problem.......true, but also his line is so smooth and free of humps and waveyness......he does not shock the line!
@Flies_the_limit Жыл бұрын
@Average Loops glad someone realizes this. His casting is obviously impeccable but the angle of the rod with a side view is what makes it look like that.
@jimknowles5483 Жыл бұрын
Yea that is true about the appearance of "tightness" of the loop! As you correctly pointed out as a result of the 45° angle of the rod Stroke!.......but how do you achieve the "needle point" as it unrolls......?? Searching for the explanation.....!! Appreciate anyone's input..!

Curious, are you using a double taper or weight forward ? I ask because I wish to understand if either choice has an advantage in terms of smooth " hump or wave free" unrolling of the line? Your smooth, straight unfolding pointed line is so beautiful! thanks just jim
