First, let me thank you. Ibwalked this path so many times growing up in the 80s and 90s and my Aunt still has a condo to this day that belonged to my grandmother. I remember throwing coins in the fountain and ru nibg through the snow in it when I was about 5 years old. It's so good to see the neighborhood. Like many others so many small businesses have become a thing of the past. Like buster brown and zbrarros ... it's good to see Step in stood the test of time. That's a great diner I had the pleasure of visiting up until my 20s. I haven't really been in the area for 20 years. These are the streets I see in my dreams, and to see them through your walk through is awesome.

There's too many filthy disgusting people all over now but on my time it was at its best. Before it lost its true charm.

I walked all of this growing up along with many areas of NYC. But this one was a trip... I left NYC in 2008 moved to a country side in nj and the Change is dramatic when I see how many store fronts were replaced by big corporations. Is the high school there now apart of Fordham Uni ... I could ask my aunt because she's a professor there but I'm already here and subscribed. I hope to hear back. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. This is the path I constantly see in my dreams. It's fascinating this channels video was suggested. I never even thought to watch these types of videos. I lived in nearly every area of the Bronx. I look forward to more videos.
