Recently caught a few up at Tannum sands Qld. Was interested to see if we had brim down home since I’ve never caught one in Tasmania yet. Great to know they are down south too 😎

when the fish has gone for more anglers you must make the descision implied at anett you do not remove the hook from the webbing you do remove the webbing from the hook !!!

They shake them out or they rust out in no time in tidal waters , less damage than digging around in there gills etc with pliers

By your accent, I take it. You are in Australia. I heard that those are regulated the same as a modern firearm in your country. In the United States, that's not even considered a firearm.

Who does some kind of voodoo stuff The saltpeter I get from the Hardware store stumper mover. In the charcoal, same place. Mix it all together. You got black powder.

I mostly use okumas in 10 or 20 size , lighter the better for prolonged casting , less fatigue on these old worn out wrists 😅

I agree and catch hundreds of trout every year on lures in other waters , but in this particular spot when targeting the big double figure fish that I’m looking for , bait is way more affective way of catching them , I have had tens of thousands of casts with lures here for only a few dozen 1-4 lb fish , the big ones I’m after are mostly scavengers feeding on chopped up eels and fish that have passed through the turbines of the power station close by

@@peckysoutdooradventures3446 l only fly fish for sea trout in southern Tasmania mostly using my own wet streamer fly patterns l have caught 17 sea runners over 10 pounds the biggest was 27 pounds. Christopher bassano from up your way has done a bit of fishing with me 👍
