Thanks for putting in so much effort in explaining the basics. Must have been a real challenge to finish this video.

The way you can simply articulate mostly foreign ideas to me is remarkable. I have a history in computer science but a lot of the barebones Assembly stuff you talk about has always been daunting to me. Thanks for making it a bit more approachable for me today.

CS student here-- (spoiler: i'm dumb) don't ask why but for the longest time, i always thought that Alice would encrypt the message with her public key, not Bob's, and that Bob would decrypt it with his private key because, for the simple fact that he doesn't have Alice's privKey. but that doesn't make sense, because Bob would have no way to accurately decrypt the msg (incorrect key pair), right? okay, well then maybe Alice encrypts it with her own privKey... and then Bob decrypts it with his own privKe--okay, I'm confused. and that's where i would drop trying to understand the process entirely. it's such a silly misunderstanding but it's nice to finally have a better grasp of the basics. the ai images and diagram helped a lot.
@ethicalpapАй бұрын
This misunderstanding is more common than you think. Glad that I was able to help! 😀

Great video... As a developer, I want to know what are the best practices to generate and verify JWT tokens. Like, generate secrets, how to store them and so on. I would love a video dedicated to that.

Great to see you are coming up on 10k! One thing that may also help is trying to put out a short 10-20 minute video weekly while doing the monthly long one. It will help with the algorithm.

I honestly think the concept of No Code based apps like Power BI and Wordpress and Wix is a downfall for the society and the entire ecosystem, it's as bad as using a API just knowing if you give it x value it'll give the result, rest all you can learn but who cares about the extra features when you just need to work with x not anything else or explore if this process can be enhanced by using other options that API has to offer.

its funny that if we base future security on zkp's we are accepting a small chance of catastrophe in the process. and if we assume infinite time we essentially guarantee eventual catastrophe.
