Im going to delhi in june what airlines should i go on Emirates or air india or qatar
@GenAvAviation14 күн бұрын
depends where you're coming from, if from dubai then emirates, if from doha then qatar, and if from anywhere else it depends on who is cheaper (usually qatar) as both are practically identical in economy on shorter routes like those. unless there is a significant price difference, I would choose any middle eastern airline over air india as, although theyre currently going through a transformation, they still have a long way to go. thanks for watching!
@HarnoorSingh-r5l13 күн бұрын
@GenAvAviation I'm going from San Antonio
@GenAvAviation13 күн бұрын
@HarnoorSingh-r5l wow, thats tough since sat doesnt really have any decent connections anywhere outside of the americas. youre probably better off either driving to houston or dallas to catch an emirates/qatar/turkish flight or flying somewhere like sfo, jfk, ewr etc. with direct connections to del with air india and even the likes of american and united. you still have a lot of options, none of them very easy, but if youre willing to fly a slightly lower quality airline and only have to make one stop one of those direct us-delhi connections is probably your best bet. if you dont mind two stops or driving a bit and its still cheaper the middle east airlines are still a really strong pick!
@HarnoorSingh-r5l13 күн бұрын
@GenAvAviation I'll just fly air India San Antonio to Chicago then to straight to Delhi
@GenAvAviation13 күн бұрын
@HarnoorSingh-r5l sounds great! you can probably get a codeshare with united since theyre both in star alliance and since chicago is their biggest hub, i would guess the entire ticket wouldnt be too expensive. have a nice trip and let me know how it goes!

This month I flew with Oman Air for the first time from Frankfurt to Bangkok via Muscat. The legroom is very good but the entertainment was not particularly special, at least with German films, which were difficult to find. The food is monotonous, on 3 out of 4 routes there was only chicken with rice or a vegetarian meal and on one route there was fish instead of chicken. The service was also not particularly special, on 3 out of 4 routes there was only food service, a round of drinks immediately afterwards. Then a drinks service shortly before landing, which on 2 out of 4 flights also included a muffin or small roll. There was nothing set up in the kitchen for self-service but you could ask for snacks and drinks. It is also annoying that you cannot change your paid seat reservation after booking. We had chosen row 45 and later I saw by chance on KZbin that this row only has a window on the back of the seat in front and could no longer change it. All in all an average flight that will only be repeated if the price is very cheap. In future, I will continue to choose my flights based on aircraft type, as the B787 and B737 seem to have narrower seats than comparable Airbus models (A320, A330/40/50) - that's my impression. Only Airbus or, with Boeing, only B747 or B777.

so I think hard product wise, oman air has it locked down. comfortable seats with ample legroom and a nice looking cabin. their business class is also very good. however, as you said, they really need to up their game with the service/soft product. I agree the entertainment is pretty mediocre compared to the likes of emirates (obviously), qatar, turkish etc, and I’m just going to say it: the food is not good enough. it’s not just the quality but the lack of options, every flight has the same two or three meals: chicken, pasta, and fish. I’ve never seen anything other than those three on my flights with WY. the flight attendants have always been very good in my experience but they just cannot make up for this disappointing level of service provided by the airline. the soft product is absolutely what’s holding WY back from truly being competitive imo, and they need to improve on it for the prices they charge sometimes. thanks for watching and for your thoughts, I appreciate and agree with them completely!

Why it’s speaking Spanish in emirates flight
@GenAvAviation2 ай бұрын
miami has a massive spanish speaking population, in fact the majority (over 70%) of the city speaks spanish, and many passengers would've been connecting on to other flights to latin america

@@GenAvAviation Oman has groving popularity here in Slovakia as holiday destination. I am the one want to travel there. But in previous years it was possible to flight there only from Wien, not Slovakia and with fuel stop, so it took 12 hours to fly there, with another 5 hours to travel to Wien (I am not from Slovak capital city, which is far close to Wien). Next year it will be direct 6-hours-flight without fuelling (flying company I dont know). So you can expect many tourists there from Slovakia next year :)
