⁠@@mulaerl3955using any of those songs is extremely boring and predictable. The songs mentioned are tied to a specific scene and scenario in the show and don’t capture the show’s overall tone. The song choice “7 rings” was purposeful. I named it “legacy trailer” because it’s meant to reimagine the very first season specifically, without giving away plot details. I was also making this video during the release of the GG reboot and that initial trailer reminded how much of the OG GG aesthetic changed over its six season run. The first season of GG is mysterious, lavish, and drama-induced. My goal was to capture that same feeling and 7 rings compliments that tone & aesthetic. Sure the song is not set in the late 00s but it doesn’t have to in order to convey its message, the song exists for the audience not the show.
