Thanks. But why link back to the original post if they are all the same? Are you going to create a link that says something like "Here is original post" or what?

Actually your content quality is so high maybe you should try to talk about programming instead of only github cuz not all programmers use github

Cold outreach is a good way to target a specific audience, especially a small and niche one. Avoid selling directly in your cold outreach message. Create a project that offers value to your target audience and collect their contact information. Use tools to search for potential users and gather their information. When sending cold emails, use a new domain name and warm up the email address to avoid spam filters. Craft a humble message that highlights the value you offer and allows users to unsubscribe easily. Nurture leads by sending them valuable content to build a strong relationship.

Building for the sake of building something, just to add AI in the description of the site... 🤔

Ok noted, work for free, pay influencers to promote the work that's done for free, so it seems like it does something. That is the stupidest advice i've ever heard in my life.

The TL:DW to get stars: Pay money for people to promote it and then spam it on a bunch of platforms. Who could have possibly guessed??

So it is about who is making the loud noise and being consistent with it but not about the technology you are building. Nice!!!
@nevo-david10 ай бұрын
What do you mean not about the technology? :)
@nevo-david10 ай бұрын
@palmberry5576 The channel is mostly about marketing, of course it's also important to have a good product and docs
@mac.ignacio10 ай бұрын
@@nevo-david Thats my point whether the thing you are marketing is good as long as you are loud and noisy you will have a lot of stars in Github. Doesnt matter if your winglang is good because your point is being that noisy in the kid in the classroom that grabs attention and being consistent with it. Dont get me wrong, I dont hate you or winglang. Just pointing out what you said in the video.
@nevo-david10 ай бұрын
@@mac.ignacio Thank you for the reply Mac. I might sounds like this is what I am saying. but of course product matters. people will not star a repository that doesn't bring value. But also good product doesn't being visitors without marketing :) I hope it makes sense
@justanaveragebalkan9 ай бұрын
Also paying big bucks to tech influencers as well. But yeah overall, github stars is the worst metric out there.

I am going to sound like a jerk no matter how I write this, but here goes. The mind of a genius is complex and ever evolving and expanding. The mind of a genius that wants to be a sudo celebrity is too concerned with their outward appearance to focus on the inward flow of thoughts and ideas. I am not stating that you are in either, but I’ve had this conversation with many tech founders. Do you want to be famous or do you want to create and build something that will be amazing. This might be a ramble, but I feel like you have so much potential and I hope you are not just going to make !yt videos as a career. Build something new! I am very new to your channel and forgive me if you are working on something new now. Be well and thank you for sharing your journey with the world

well done. I see so so many open sourcers on Reddit asking for a more generic social media management platform. I'm the same. Gitroom has some great features. Though my needs have nothing to do with marketing software or anything Git-related. i and many others are looking for a social media management platform
