Well….. how can I explain my deep appreciation, gratitude and admiration to these real and authentic musicians. Folks, we are indebted and owe them too much . These were the face of all Ethiopians . They don’t represent ethnicity, religion, region, class or politics.They simply are musicians who always remain speaking to one’s soul by means of other universal language piercing the core of the heart . Look at their faces! The calmness, demeanor,grace and most of all magnificent mastery of the instruments. They don’t only play music but speak to the seat of the soul and spirit which surpasses everything. At one time, our ancestors were at the peak of spiritual wisdom unlike today, before we all sat at the bottom of it. We shall always remember one truth: we, each of us,in one or the other way have greatly contributed to the demise and destruction of our culture and country. Let’s not deny it. Let’s admit it!!Take Take responsibility and work hard despite useless and shameful blame game! The Bible says ,’all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’

Her name is Meron but i call her Mer as her eyes are so wide so deep so expressive just like the sea..."mer" in French. This Ambasel is a consolation for a sea no more.

I have not been to Ambassel or Bati. these places though, have become magical and deeply nostalgic to many ethiopians worldwide through the classical music associated to their names.

Ambassel is one of the Ethiopian music genres. It's also a district found in Northen Ethiopia.

@@galleymalteze8228 I have also read the same about its meaning(Ambassel as meaning a "plateau of honey). But,as me being an Amharic language speaker,I can certainly tell you Amba is a word for a plateau on a high ground.

Thank you for the wonderful Meditation Music for the Most High. Ethiopia and Israel are like the bright, TWO GOLDEN-WHITE EYES of the CREATOR, through whom He is overlooking the world. Both are Ark-Countries, were/are hosting the Ark with the 10 Commandments. The music shows the Beauty of Faithfullness. But it also shows the sadness, because we know, all arrows of bad luck from the fallen angels are pointed at the Faithful Beleavers in Israel and Ethiopia, the cradles of mankind, and former land of Eden, between the 4 Rivers of Faith.
