Remember coming home from Easter dinner and listening to this with my sister at 11 years old while she recorded off the radio. Such a shame that no video besides Sonic Reducer has surfaced

The performance of Better Man here is what forms the back drop to the version on Vitalogy - I mean that it's literally this version. There might be a few overdubs/re-recorded parts, but the performance is there!!

Crazy!! I was plugged into the board that night also but DATs were expensive back then and I ended up recording over it and thought I lost everything until I found it on an unmarked tape. Then, I go to KZbin and see your grab was just uploaded, whoa!!! I'll re-master mine and upload it soon so we can compare. Cheers!

I remember I heard this on a audio cassette that a not so friend made. It wasn't too good. However, the segue from Rats in to Already in Love was awesome. Another not so friend said while driving in a car with us that Eddie actually said something drunken about Michael Jackson in between songs LOL

Pardon my ignorance but it's been about 27 years since I first heard this and I still don't know what "abusing his inner child is" and apparently it's cause I've never been caught. Can anyone shine some light on it for me?

i still have this double CD, i bought it in an old shop here in Spain back in the 90s. It´s a pirate italian CD called "Pearl Jam, Atlanta the day before". I never regretted it (it cost me a lot of money), despite not having much sound quality

First 2/3 of this show was on the "They Are Best Overall {Psycho Motion In Corpus Eight}" bootleg boxset, but I've never heard the end of the show until now. It's been like 30 years since I had that bootleg, while Fluffhead may be the best section and I've never known until now. The full encompassment of life that Phish provides is mesmerizing. ❤

I stayed up all night for this to record it on cassette. Had three cassettes ready. Listen to the whole thing. It was 2 am my time in the UK on radio one. Played it back afterwards only to discover the recorder was broke. Then about a year or so later they brought it out on a 3 disc boxset. I was so made up. Took ages to get all three, because the third had to be imported. Had it for years but as time went by it got dog eared and scratched discs etc. This has to be the best of best gigs they did. Absolutely amazing to hear, true raw grunge at its finest. Will love this band til I die.

I used to have a video of Chris playing Lazy River on his guitar while sitting on the trunk of a car in the Vogue parking lot. It must have been like 1993. I really wish I had that video. Later I watched it over and over and figured out how to play it.
