I feel truly blessed to be a lifelong member of the Lord's church, with the emphasis placed on serving others. The story that this good man tells about his friend's widow and the help that she received with such a massive potato harvest reminds me of the story that Elder Christofferson told in his April 2018 Conference talk about the grieving father and the help that he received with his massive sugar beet harvest shortly after burying most of his own children. Such touching stories! May we all strive to more fully live up to Christ's example 🙏

Beware when LDS say Joseph Smith could not have known about people writing on metal plates. Both Jahn's Biblical Archaeology by Upham and The Restoration of the Jews by Bicheno were in print at the time. Both discussed Hebrew writing on metal plates. That is all the evidence needed to cast doubt on the claim that Joseph could not have known. It is proof that a miracle need not be the only answer. Now consider the miracle of Moses parting the Red Sea. There is no physical, real world explanation. It is the least probable thing that Moses could have done in leading his people to escape the Egyptian army. This is what miracles are really about. They are nothing like Mormonism's cheap attempts at fabricating their appearance with claims like there is no evidence that Joseph Smith read either of those books. LDS members say Joseph couldn't have known, right in the face of proof that he could have. This cheapens everything. Those who believe Joseph Smith to be on the same footing as Biblical characters can have faith shattered when proof is finally realized, that he could have known. The beauty of Biblical stories can be ruined, becoming collateral damage from the lie. It is no wonder that so many who leave Mormonism do so with an entire loss of faith, filled with doubt and skeptical of anything toward religion.

While listening to this talk, there are very important key elements to this talk and how we can secure a much stronger structure between the family home. And how we can prevent these issues arise and how we can apply to strengthen the youth. In society itself, there's key aspects to this. Ever since mobile devices were invented, this is where the real issue lies so we need to set a stronger structure for our own kids and youth.

Brother Wahlquist taught me how to TEACH. I aspired to be a Seminary teacher but it was not to be. Instead I have spent the last 13 years teaching High School and am now teaching in a Jr. High in Texas. The principles taught in Brother Wahlquist's class extends beyond seminary or religion classes of any kind. It is teaching the Lord's way and can be applied in ANY teaching situation. Thank you Brother Wahlquist for preparing me for what has become my life's work: TEACHING!

GUESS WHAT DEBUNKS THE BOOK OF MORMON? ACCORD TO GOD'S REAL HOLY SCRIPTURES, WHEN JESUS ASCENDED, HE SAID HE WAS NOT COMING BACK UNTIL THE ELECT ARE CALLED UP TO HIM IN THE SKY! THAT'S HASN'T HAPPENED YET! GOD ALSO HAD HIS AUTHORS SO THIS IS BLASPHEMY! GET IT TOGETHER, PEOPLE! THE MORMONS ARE CALLING GOD'S HOLY WORD A LIAR!

I understand that this was a great learning experience about fasting and prayer. I would like to share something very interesting. Yesterday (June 2nd, 2024), during the fasting and testimony meeting, two of our ward members shared powerful testimonies about fasting and prayer. This got me thinking about how I can improve my fasting experience, as I have struggled with it for a long time. After listening to them, I wanted to put extra effort into fasting and prayer. Then, the message I listened to today was not just a coincidence; it was meant for me to learn more about it. The principles in the message made more sense and will surely make my fasting easier, more personal, and more spiritual.
