When I first start coaching somebody and they are stressed, distracted, and talking fast then as the months go by, they're more and more relaxed. It's really, really rewarding for me.

This is very helpful, thank you! Special thanks for being so direct and speaking against over-advertising oneself or the method. I also have strong feelings about it.

In addition to changing the question or maybe instead of changing the question, one problem some coaches have (where I need to improve) is by asking more than one question before giving the client a chance to respond. I also feel that sometimes, when we throw a question out there, sometimes we are uncomfortable with silence, so we think if there is silence, the client may not 'like the question' or 'it's not the right question,' etc. Whatever it is, we need to be more at ease with silence! Easier said than done especially when we do coaching virtually when we may not be able to see their body language.

Goals are directional. Habits can get you there. Love this. Subscribed (would you mind a little reciprocity?)
