I insulated and put vapor barrier against the insulation, then finished the inside with plywood. It's no different than the inside of your home...

The plastic is a vapor barrier, it is needed when using this type of insulation... I'm not sure if you would need it with foam insulation, but plastic is cheap and it definitely wouldn't hurt anything with the foam insulation
@Daviid-200911 ай бұрын
Is this to stop water getting in the insulation? And would I need it if using foam insulation? (dog house build too)

Thank you - exactly what I was looking for! Plumbing a complete new brake system with a drum rear. Need to install the residual valve but wasn’t 100% sure where - closer to the master cylinder or on the frame up from the soft line to the axle? Close to the master for the win!

Hey bud, what type of plastic clip did you use to hold the side braces? I'm putting one on my 69 now and I would like to use that same clip.
@wandler76 Жыл бұрын
They call them "push clips", they are made in many different sizes. The ones I used were a 5/16" size, but just find one that fits snug...

Hi what brand and size tires do you have on this machine? Wondering if you like that tread pattern in snow if you even use it in the snow just wondering ? thank you for the helpful video
@wandler762 жыл бұрын
Hi, the tires are called Lifemaster and are 10x16.5, and yes they are great in the snow
@umangu2 жыл бұрын
Why did they make that hole?
@wandler762 жыл бұрын
It's for fluid transfer when the master cylinder is mounted level, but on some vehicles ( like my 1968 Camaro) the master cylinder is mounted on an angle and the transfer hole ends to be blocked

I appreciate the video! I think your way does look a bit nicer, but it's DEFINITELY NOT the proper way. Do you have any other ideas for what those fender holes are for? Here is a picture from the assembly manual showing the bracket attaching to the fender hole: www.motortrend.com/uploads/f/242994551.jpg If this is somehow wrong, I'm all ears.
@wandler762 жыл бұрын
I saw the instructions show to attach the brackets in the fender holes, but I found the brackets are not long enough to reach... therefore I called the manufacturer, and they said to install the way I did. This was my reason for making the video. Thanks for the comment!

@@wandler76 I am doing a reinstall of the front spoiler on a 1969. I ordered the set of 3 spoiler braces from HBC and compared them to the set that were on the car. All the same and they fit perfectly to the hole in the bottom of the fender extensions. I'd suggest following the AIM is the RIGHT way to do the installation. There are a set of shorter braces that are used in RS application to reinforce a bracket on the hideaway headlight. Maybe you received the wrong braces from the supplier. The ones for the hideaway headlight bracket are smaller in diameter (not intuitive) and shorter by over an inch. They are not interchangeable, ask me how I know......
