Level the car when the plug is out, same when you fill. Otherwise old oil will remain in the transmission.

@car-lo I don't think you can disassemble that part easily. I was lucky I pushed the latch all the way back and it snapped back in to normal lol.

Not much bro since i think i clamped it, but fill it up before u run the car, then watch it while warming up the engine add if needed to the line when it is warm. Best of luck it is tricky!

The picture of the "before" is actually considered restored by most people's standards. If you take a completely fogged up lens and buff it up with a headlight cleaner, you get the "before" image. The "after" image in this thumbnail is a new lens.

That is a good question because those parts look the same, if u have one extra laying around test it, if not just buy the one specifically for Focus ST.

7:05 the torque spec for the fill bolt is 11.1 ftlb and it is stated in the publicly available service manual online. As well as additional steps to this procedure not shown in this video.

They actually don’t sell these gaskets oem because they want you to spend money paying $200 for the part and $1000 for labor… I just did my whole timing belt / water pump kit + cam seals replacement and it’s still leaking, whole time it might’ve just been this leaking. Wish me luck

It will be breezy for yah since you did the tbelt - use a small amount of silicon to hold it down so it wont pop off.

@s5loh974 sorry i used a very very small amount of silicon to hold it to just a small section because it keeps on popping off, i dont know if oem o-ring will do the same as far as popping off.

@@car-lo I had installed the sprocket, and it wouldn’t align so I put two bolts in aligned with each other and forced them in, it finally aligned and the last bolt I tightened lowkey feels like I stripped it so I stopped tightening it, it hasn’t been leaking but idk if I f’d up or im chilling, I might buy some lock tide and redo the bolts but idk what you think bro

@s5loh974 watch out for it, just to be sure, was the bolt turning when u were tightening it? Doesn't require much to tighten if it was strip i hope it is just the bolt that is easier to replace, but double check all.

Dear master! My manual says that need 6,21 L of fluid to fill gearbox. But actually only 5 liters came out. All other guys says that need enough 5 smth plus liters. My question: how many fluid you filled? And : Why manual says about 6,21 liters? And where is one liter left? Thank you

What i did was, measure what came out and put in same amount, lil tad bit more, so far car shifts good till today like brand new again.

As a 2020 Tesla M3P owner, I'm a little confused. Does the drive unit oil need/should be changed? The Tesla owners manual does not state this needs/should be changed but I want the most longevity of my drive units. Should this be changed? There's multiple videos online about changing the drive unit oil and filter but they do not state when and why it needs to be changed.

A lot of the tesla owners don't see over 100k, maybe why they dont say anything about it, but this is a simple good way to keep your drive motors last a bit longer.

Tesla doesn’t want anyone to maintain their cars until 100k warranty has passed 😅 be smart and change atf fluid asap, every 40k to 50k. I’ll change atf fluid ATF 9 on my 22” model y, 50,560 mi next week.

@gerbertmorataya9636 i used something cost effective that is compatible, but when in doubt use pentosin 9, but the synthetic i used is compatible so far so good :)

⁠@@car-loyeah, it’s compatibility for ZF 9 speed type. If Tesla finds out you are using a different ATF, may void your warranty. I’d use Pent 9 fluid to keep you safe from getting voided.

It's important to have the vent hooked up on this battery. That's why you need to use a factory Mercedes auxiliary battery.

I was also told by the mechanic that the vent is a very important part and needs to be connected. Also the foam he added is a fire hazard 😮

My car temperature rises and when I turn the heat on it drops and stabilizes. Also I have to top off the coolant from time to time . Could this be a bad thermostat ? Or a leak in the system ?

Check your oil dip stick make sure there is no coolant there, if you have muddy looking oil u have a leak internally, but mos def change ur thermo if you haven't done base on factory maintenance.

Are you changing the Crankshaft sensor or the Camshaft sensor in this video? The title says Crankshaft but you keep saying camshaft in the video. I really need to know, because I have an 07 Nissan Frontier 2WD 4.0. I've watched this video 100 times in order to replace it. I am getting the P0335 code, Crankshaft. I replaced it and now the truck attempts to turn over but then immediately dies. P0335 code still comes up. I'm wondering if I'm getting the completely wrong part or if I'm getting the right part it's just defected.

I will do that job again. I could not get big filter out becos of that hose. I could not take down that hose. I tried, even I was thinking to take off front bumper))) now I know that hose is removable

The filter came out without removing the hoses, i also pinned the small filter on the comment section. I used small socket extensions to remove the filter housing, but the hose is on 05:33.

You are basically slowing your car with that extension. Cuz that bend upwards gonna make the car and the wing less aero dynamic as it is dragging more air on the wing and blocking the air pass freely.

Having an issue with a 2003 525i misfire on all cylinders, 4&6 fuel injectors were changed also the ECU ignition drivers were repaired. I’m getting rough idol when the car is started after driving for a while, then it smooths out, but recently it tripped the SEC light and says all 6 cylinders are mis firing. Once in a while when hitting the gas it sounds like a vaccum cleaner is under the hood. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Only 26k miles in the car.
