How long have been driving front discharge and how do like it? Although i drove rear discharge and loved it... always thought front discharge would be the way to go.

All his prime water and slick pack floated to the top of the hopper so it looks like crap but we started with a 6.5 maybe . To much 3 inch line with no grout to start plugged her up good.

Feel bad for the driver. I round tripped five loads of color one day. I finally got tired of washing down the fins and Inside of mixer I waited on last two loads and put 5 yards of peastone with wash out water. Let it turn for a few minutes. Scoured it no more mess on top or front of the cab. All of our drivers do it now. Well done on the pour brother. Did us proud. If they’re just knocking the top off it and they ever whine. Do you pile it up😂😂 you know you do.
@hddoug72Ай бұрын
Yep, around here 3/4 round is the least expensive so that is wat was used with reject sand. The exception would be 1.5 round for buildup on a hot day.
@29labsАй бұрын
We use sand sometimes but our dispatcher will try and get us a footing so we don't have to wash out

A real mixer driver. Front discharge. We haven’t had a rear discharge in 25 years. Labor is to expensive. Need to many guys on curb machine,gotta pump every wall,flat work……. Now that’s a proper wash down. Not chipping that thing every month.

Yes, code for this job calls for covering the electrical lines with red concrete. It’s for a large waste water treatment facility.
