I still wish we had more seasons to answer two main questions I had. How the hatred for monsters came to be??? We have the clue that perhaps it started between the mewman's and the monsters but that still doesn't answer how or why the magic high commission is against monsters themselves since glossaryck created them and he doesn't seem to be against monsters himself so what granted the rest of his children to hate monsters?? Why is dark magic a nono?? Like it's represented like a REALLY bad thing but it's never explained why and it's such a plot hole to me because you can't just say dark magic bad. There's a REASON why it's bad and i was sure it would've been explained if we just had an episode regarding eclipsa's arms and hands covered in a dark mark, it feels more like if she continued to use dark magic eventually her body would've been marked by it and made her insane.

I like how it sounds like the other upbeat "weird" themes in the show with the wobbly instruments and bells etc., but now taking on a darker tone. It's a cartoon, so the weirdness in Gravity Falls usually leads to fun adventures, but if looking at it from a realistic perspective that kind of weirdness can have devastating effects on a person's mental health, and McGucket is a perfect example of that
