My Great uncle ,Roy Macdonald & his wife my aunt ran and won in the 1914 PROVIDENCE motorcycle triangle club Run. I still have uncle Roy's solid silver fob that was given him at the run . I truly would love to see that run reenacted with vintage bikes to ere and would be a great blessing to participate as well. True ridder history. ❤❤❤

It's good to see the late Martin "Jack" Rosenblum (The Holy Ranger) at the top of his form here as the official Harley-Davidson historian. R.I.P. Martin . poet, blues guitarist, and all-around great guy.

I bought my first Harley when I was 20 in 1973, a Super Glide. Rode it till 2012 when I bought a Road Glide Ultra which I still ride today at 70. For fun, I travel in my RV and tow the Road Glide in my cargo trailer to camp and ride around the country.

IMOP as a HD tech since 2010 HDs are garbage. Since 2018 i have rode Goldwings. Hands down the best bikes ever made. Knowing what i know i will never spend an other dollar on HDs. This guy is either the worlds biggest kiss ass or he is getting paid to help save the brand.

Did they paint by hand the Harley logo on the fuel tank or was it decals, stickers after 1914? Regards / Gustaf

I'm 63 years old and one of the things on my bucket list is getting myself a Harley and ride from Toronto Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 all the way to Sturgis bike week some day.

I'm from South Africa, my dad and I work in the united States on an agricultural program, my dad had a Harley sportster that he won in a competition in 2006 but had to sell it in 2012 after the 2008 recession caught up with us. Last year I bought myself a 2015 sportster in Iowa I want to get my dad a Harley too but money is tight so we'll take whatever we can buy used and ride to Sturgis this year and hopefully yellowstone too. It doesn't have to be a Harley although a Harley is preferred for the experience. But don't let brands hold you back just get something and ride, enjoy the experience, you could always trade in for a Harley later.

I owned three AMF Harleys , all three 1976. (2) xlch Sportsters and one Electra Glide. They all leaked a bit and broke down a bit, but I learned to be a some what decent customizer and a mechanic. I could fix em at home, on the road or where ever. I owned (2) Triumph Bonnies from the 60's used and a two yr. old 69 Honda 750 four also and they broke down just as much. I learned a lot in those days. If I owned a bike now that didn't break down, I don't know what I'd do.
