Her current design is much better. Her original one was painfully generic and what you usually see in medieval fantasy. I could easily see her as a Fire emblem or FF characters (most generic fantasy games that came to mind). Final Hulkenberg is actually unique.

A lot of people get awkward about her design in mementos having a décolleté and miss the point that it has to be that way. The sexuality is the point. We encounter all of the Phantom Thieves in low and craven states, especially Joker and Ann. Without getting too far into the weeds, she awakens because she manages shadow integration, accepting the parts of her she found too distasteful to acknowledge. These were all sex-related. She didn’t have to entice Kamoshida in exchange for Shiho’s varsity placement, it was her choice to do so. But she couldn’t acknowledge that to Shiho and she certainly could not do so to herself. It doing so, she cheapens any of Shiho’s accomplishments or status on the team but she could not see it because before cheapening Shiho’s accomplishments, she cheapened herself. Not by using seduction but by choosing to use it because she valued no part of herself. She hated Kamoshida but she hated herself more, and she hated seducing him even more. So she disconnects from what she’s really doing and that creates her shadow. So even though her her beauty is as real as reification of value as anything else, she values no part of herself, not even her body, because every day she was profaning it and humiliating herself with that body. Integration is unification, not suppression or subsumption. Shadows are created, in the Jungian sense, when you do something then tell yourself, that’s not me; it is you. Accepting the wholeness of oneself and using every part of oneself is the meaning of integration. Depicting anything else in P5 would just break the way that world and its powers work.

I definitely often go with the quickest option because I want all the dating scenes possible although at the same time in general I think they should do better with incorporating romance in the next game like for example in persona 5 the Hawaii trip Ann asks your type of girl even when you already romance her yet for some reason in persona 3 if you romance multiple characters before the festival gets canceled then Yukari, Chihiro, and Yuko will almost catch you so hopefully they think more about that when they plan to make persona 6

I get it. I have abandonment issues and an underlying anxiety of people eventually leaving me, regardless of how I may look at a situation rationally. Regardless of some of my mixed feelings about The Answer as a whole, Metis, and by extension Aigis, fit the theme of P3 really well and they are a good representation of another kind of inner struggle if players are open to trying to understand it.
