As some who isn't a Christian who is and will be deeply impacted by this election, I understand the need of seeing people as humans despite who they voted for. I also try to keep that mindset because it's probably the only way for me not to become depressed 😅 I'm also not a mother or a wife, I'm a college student still figuring stuff out. Ny friend who is an immigrant isn't able to do her role as student right now, she has chronic health issues and she is facing isolation from her friends due to their newfound standces on things that directly impact her. My own mother already had barriers to doing her role in the first place, the addes social and political issues aren't helping her. What I mean to say is, I'm happy you are able to have the stability and state of mind that this won't impact your roles and responsibilities, but so many people will be impacted by this even just from a social and cultural lense. So many people won't be able to be mothers, or students, or wives because of certain extreme pieces of this legislation and government. And we've already seen many people take the opportunity to act on their hate. So, I don't think most people are evil or purposefully trying to hurt others, and I don't think it's helpful to generalize people for any reason. But I do think it's impactful on multiple levels and I think it takes a certain circumstance to be able to view this only through an economic lense and be able to hokd conversations with people who voted against your existence. Not just the presidential election, but all the horrible things that did and didn't pass as well. Anyways I'm not trying to argue with your video just wanted to share because we are different people and I found your perspective interesting 💕
@honestandunbiasedАй бұрын
@@Molly-iw1rc I really appreciate this response because it’s well thought out and it gave me a lot to think about. I think what I meant to say is that the immediate impact isn’t felt yet. I definitely think that will be impacted and because I live in Chicago and we are one blue state and really just one blue city and everything around us is red, I expect there will be shifts And changes, especially when it comes to mindset. In the meantime, I know that my basics are the only priority that I can control and therefore that’s all I focus on. I can’t afford to feel too much about the way things are because my priorities are here at home. I have to keep these little guys well fed, and alive And while the world around us is incredibly depressing that seems to be what life is sometimes. I think it’s terrible and I think plenty of people live in fear that the things that are occurring are going to impact us because they are already being impacted. For me I think it’s more of a mindset though. I have to remain grounded because I don’t have a choice and because we are in this situation, I will admit I do believe that this video might be a little bit too simplistic because there are so many different caveats, and there are so many things that are actually occurring, but I think for my sanity and my own mental health it’s best to focus on one thing at a time Thank you so much for sharing because I appreciate this. I really do.

@ True but understand this, Russia and the CCP along with the Iran are tirelessly working to undermine the US in the eyes of its people and ensure it has a leader who will bend to their will. Trump is that leader. They made sure Tiktok (under the CCP) spreads propaganda against Democrats and split the democratic voters by exploiting issues like Ukraine, Israel etc. Russia (with the help of Elon) has used Twitter to spread Russian, Chinese and Iranian bots who help spread and amplify propaganda in their respective interests which are pretty much common. This is why Elon bought Twitter in the first place. To control media spaces and manipulate the public. It unfortunately worked very well.
