So many very talented and gifted people to make and star in this extraordinary film of the Mayan people. Best movie i will see in my life time as so many movies are do overs. Well done and God bless bringing this art to form to real life.

Ah, Apocalypto, the movie with massive plot holes and time traveling conquistadors. I really wanted to like it but as usual Mel Gibson made a shitty historical movie.

The problem, my friend, is that you are unable to understand this is not a documentary. It's fiction. It has zero obligation to follow historical facts. So, I dont this the problem is the movie... look at yourself.

you know I watched this film when it came out in LA , the theater was full with latinos , we all enjoyed the film , they even clapped at certain scenes , which I found weird coming from Europe , now when Jaguar Paw ran out of the woods to the shore to see the Europeans arrive a bunch of them started to boo , got up , and left the room , their mind could not handle the truth that we found them in the stone age , for them that movie played in 10000 BC , and when reality slapped them across the face they did not like it , and frankly you sound like one of those guys who left , but for us Europeans that very last scene made this film an epic movie , also I am convinced that Gibson made this whole movie just for that very last scene , to show who these people were before Christianity , after all Christianity is his life project , so maybe it is a shitty historical movie , but it got his point across

There is a place like this in Guatemala called Tica. I have been there and seen carvings in ruins depicting sacrifices. It is amazing. I want to see the film now.
