Doubt any of the Slap Shot stuff would be said with the coach around ; Often times their one of the girl's Dad's. The phone in the glove was funny guess that's why the gloves are that big but don't try that at home $20k worth of dental work later. The last one was clean funny. This is some stuff that really happens: A 12U pitcher got smacked in the face had expensive reconstructive dental surgery and was back out there pitching with a mask. A 16U ASA tourney catcher called another one a Bitch in the friendly 'good game' line after the game. But they knew each other. A catcher in an elite travel ball tourney turned around and told the home plate umpire "You ump like shit" The coach was also ejected. She was in a high school state championship. Won one as an assistant coach. A star pitcher who had nine pitches in her arsenal blamed a rainy wet ball on loss of her control. The ball was the same for both teams. They lost that state champ playoff game. She needed to find a tenth pitch with a wet ball. A catcher got hit when a ball jumped up at her because the plate was not level from the big boy beer softball leagues stomping on it over the years. The coach was required to go check on her. She pointed to the dugout to get back. A Dad was giving his daughter in the outfield a friendly ribbing during a blow out regional tourney game. She got mad and told him to shut up. Girls watching the opposition come to the plate with a purple bat matching their high school colors. Said I like her bat. A Little League All-star team was close to a mercy rule. They spent more time talking to their friends outside the dugout fence. A Little League state champ double header was played in 90 deg heat a couple years after girls stopped wearing shorts. 10U Little League girls didn't know the final score. Their priority was to ask the Mom coach if they got snow cones after the game. 10U tourney the girls in the dugout screamed at the top of their lungs for no reason and it wasn't a cheer. The ump who was a boys high school umpire took off his mask and said "Ladies' don't do that again'. Someone asked a team Mom how the girls come up with the dugout cheers. Rolled her eyes and said I have no idea. A coach said it's cute. For about 10 seconds. A10U ASA regional tourney had to have a winner on a Sunday went into extra innings. The out of town parent's didn't like that rule. A little girl went to bat and told the ump she had to go to the bathroom. He stopped the game. Told the tourney director I didn't want a little girl to wet herself. She ran to the restrooms two mens league fields away. All the other girls ran after her. Not sure they really cared who won or lost at that point. I'm sure I'm missing something. And it looks so innocent. Girls playing softball with their friends all year long hitting a bucket of balls before they go swimming or watch cartoons. Yeah that's what I've been told really happens. I should make a video about that ;
