I've searched the comments for an answer for my questions and did not find it or more than likely I've overlooked it. Did the work you perform, solve the problem? If so, how long has it lasted and/or how long did it last before returning to making the noise again? Thank you for the video. Count me in as a new subscriber.

With the glass being so snug, is there any concern of wood movement causing the glass to crack?

Thanks! One thing on the list of flaws I can maybe fix. This shouldn’t have happened though. Plastic Crap. I will not be buying an Acura ever again. My rear Windows stopped working also and the SH AWD and check emissions lights come On intermittently. Total gong show car. Never again. Oh, and the lock-unlock button on the key hardly ever works (even with new battery). When it works we get excited lol. And one rear door doesn’t open from the inside. We're on #2 of having this happen right out of the box. Had an original Opal that was dead quiet for the 6-7 years we had it. It just stopped making ice, otherwise I would have kept it. It has been such a long time since I took it apart I can't recall if it used styrofoam or some other material to insulate the top of the ice maker. So now I'm curious if GE cut corners by using a cheaper material to insulate it with.

I'm getting 3 volts output on the same model ballast whats the normal output voltage for these?
@JONSDIYАй бұрын
The ballast converts 120 volts to a continuous 277 for pulseless stream. Ensure you bought the correct ballast. Some are solely for single lamps while others support dual and even quad lamp fixtures. Trying to run a single lamp ballast with a four lamp draw will give you the kind of out put you are seeing.
