Its a temporary unlock, so the others won't revert back but others will do, depending on the firmware which is there.

Go to advanced settings on the right tab, go to device settings, you will find fast boot there.

If you switch the sim cards after manually turning the mifi off, it will refuse the new sim card. You need to turn it off from the web browser after enabling fastboot then swap the sim cards while the mifi is off from the web browser shut down.
