Good video Andy. You really can’t be missing fairways on those courses. The fairways are very wide. A couple of tee shots and the odd putt cost you a better score.

As the man said, your a dream to caddy for, because your going to play your shot, no matter the advice, reducing the caddy to a vag carrier, a good double episode would be you playing a round taking 100% caddy advice, then you playing the same round with your shots. Have the caddy walk round with you on your solo round first, so he can see your swing and have a look at the course

Play this course after 2.30pm for twighlight and its around 40 quid, which is a bargain. buggy, range, water all included. And barely anyone on it.

I have this watch. The battery is horrible. The features are nice. That being said a Garmin will run for 4-5 days without a charge. And they have a newer Garmin that solar charges.

It feeds into manufacturers saying that their clubs get you further than their competitors. This is all fed by the quest for more distance. ACCURACY and DISPERSION are afterthoughts.

Andy, Pete cowen has said there is no hand manipulation in the golf swing, with you he said that Rory and tiger are two of the best manipulators in the game, clearly you are showing a lot of manipulation. Why did Pete ever say there is not hand manipulation
@andycartergolf4 күн бұрын
Some players don’t have the body action, mobility or strength to control the club so hand manipulation in some cases works best.

Way to throttle The Boys at Formby Lady. That was ground under repair btw. Those fellas are cut-throat. 😂 Solid advice here, thanks gents. As I’m able to hit balls for the first time in a month, I had to rely on one of your tips today. Worked like a charm and allowed me to fix several things. After my last round I could barely walk for a week. Then two weeks of procedures on me back, followed by a week of recovery. My swing terrible as expected. Muscle loss from all of my “goings on” don’t help. But I hit about 35 full swings yesterday and about 60 today. Today was better than yesterday, so we’re on the right track. The tip from you that I remembered was Shoulder Tilt with Driver. I was so peeved at myself I needed to bash something hard. I tried your tip and it worked like a charm from swing one. That allowed me to realize all of the other crap I was doing because of the longer swing. I owe you another thanks Andy. Thanks. 🥂

I think #4 and #5 are the most important. Remember 17 bogeys and 1 par is 89 (par 72) so the closer you can chip that 3rd shot the better chance you have for a par; happen to get on the green in 2, the closer you get that first putt the better chance of making that par.
@topthecat22596 күн бұрын
For me golf is purely a mental, subconscious struggle...I can now putt, I can chip, but my tee shots and iron shots from fairway are monstrously bad if I am playing in a fourball. Go out on a round on my own I can hit a driver straight 200 yards, 6 iron about 135, chip and two putts. Get me with people I don't know and it turns into a nightmare. Great tips but some videos on the mental game would be good.
