Did you not watch the first BTTF? If you had, then you would know that there is a 7-day grace period (as experienced through the eyes of the time traveler) before time travelers get affected by the changes made in the timeline. Doc and Marty had 7 days to back out the changes made by old man Biff in 1955.

It still wouldn't happen. It'd mean they fade out, and then there's still no time machine invented to cause the almanac HellValley. Young Biff has no way to receive the book. A week to stop it or not, it cuts off the cause all together.

@@maniac1075 The way temporal mechanics should happen and the way it happens in the movies are different things. The former will result in a movie that no one wants to watch and therefore will not be made in the first place. The latter will result in a blockbuster movie. Time travel is not possible anyways so who is to say what the rules are? As long as the rules are consistent, that's all that really matters. But in reality, in the BTTF trilogy, the rules are not consistent.

@@maniac1075 Other people have theorized that the reason Marty did not disappear instantly when he pushed George out of the path of his grandfather's car was because the pivotal moment (George kissing Lorraine at the dance) had not been reached yet. Therefore, Marty's self-destruction was not certain until that point. At the beginning of the movie, Lorraine did say that that was the moment she decided she was going to spend the rest of her life with George. Based on that theory, the pivotal moment in the case of Biff was when he placed his first bet when he turned 21. The Biffhorrific timeline was not certain until that pivotal moment. During the time old man Biff was in 1955, that moment had not been reached yet. However, old man Biff passed that moment when he arrived in Biffhorrific 2015, at which time, he disappeared.

There's no point in time for young Biff to receive the almanac in the first place to make that first major bet winnjngs without the events of the time machine being invented to begin with. Otherwise, the timeline becomes young Biff just receives a 2015 book out of thin air that old Biff no longer gives him because there was no time machine to travel to 2015 to set the whole thing in motion.

Game analysis, book moves are not included Rook flip: good move, the rook did not have vision, but he can now see through the ground reaching their pieces. Unicorn knight: blunder, as unicorns are a thing of the undeveloped child’s world, you want to develop your knight, right? Pawn spy: missed move, as you could have played the foot long churro, which would lead to them getting an advantage as well as a tasty treat. Bishop church: inaccuracy, as they don’t have to be off the board for one stupid bishop to always be missed by my dumbass and everyone else’s when the opponent is trying to mate. Rook unicorn: blunder, same reasons as the knight, but what the hell is with the ones on the rooks body, is he trying to play beat saber? Christmas: best move, as Christmas (if you celebrate it, no hate to Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.) is the best holiday, hands down. Chessatron: brilliant move, this brings you a piece that can shoot pieces at others, very op but this can be countered by Optimus prime defense Hotel: great move, now any piece on that square goes bankrupt, protecting you from mate on that square.

Continued: Queen Oscar: best move, as queen needs an Oscar for acting like this game makes no sense. Tiger woods: forced, as the chessatron is already checking the king, and he has no money, can’t split the billl, so he tiger woods the waiter, getting him kicked out of red lobster. Cards: mistake, this makes you like the 99.9% gamblers who quit before winning big by doing this without money, and going all in. Golden shower: best move, this pushes the king and even if your opponent sees this, they will have the ichor debuff, -20 defense
