If it was conrod you would here all the time high frequency rattle at double engine speed check stator magnets for dislodgement, and clutch springs (not pressure plate springs)for looseness.

V twins mainly 90 degree and 75 degree sound awesome, being an inline four owner of 30 plus bikes, owned one of these and various ktm,s will definitely own another some day.

I got one last Friday, the best all round sport bike, perfect power , perfect for cruising, come with a very good and loud V2 , being Japanese also relatively reliable , for the price you can't find something better in my opinion , i loved it since saw one on street and from then i decided that was my bike 😁

i think he's just a correct and normal rider, this is absolutely normally reaction when you ride a "new" bike.

Shame about that engine knock from the left side. Had it in two early SV's. I make a damper for the crankshaft that fits into the cover of the generator cover. Works a treat to damp the noise just as it happens at tickover. [email protected]

I'm curious to what you decide on. I like SV's ... Sold one a year or so ago, had a little Yamaha since then. Shopping for an SV1000 as we speak. Also been intrigued by the VFR's with ABS too.

Nothing in this kind of price range sounds, goes and looks like an SV (in full fairing), it's just simple as that. That V-Twin with straight exhaust is amazing. I'm also looking at VFR's and older VTR's, but VTR's ar getting too old now, and VFR's (especially with ABS) seems like too expensive to maintain, if something does go wrong.
