I attended the 2008 Dick Weber Open. Pete didn't have any outbursts though, despite having a bunch of tough break shots and ultimate loss against Mike Scroggins in the 1st match that day. What pleasantly surprised me was I when walked outside after the event and saw Pete was still there, smoking a cigarette alone, so I approached him and asked him if he could sign my collectors bowling pin and take a photo with me. He was actually really nice. He said "Oh sure!" then put his cigarette in his mouth, signed my pin, then threw the cigarette away when he posed with me for a photo. I told him he's my favorite bowler of all time since as long as I could remember and I was really rooting for him to win that day. He was really humble and even shook my hand with a kind midwestern "Thank you so much I really appreciate you." He and his wife Tracy seem to have a great connection too. She came out shortly after, asked him something in a very sweet tone, he replied in a gracious way, then proceeded off somewhere. Anyway, that reinforced my fandom for the guy, despite the often classless displays on tv throughout the years lol.

Pete Weber is the absolute best. Amazing bowler and a great hilarious person. Truly an icon and a pioneer for the sport. Epic highlights. I don't think we are ever going to see such a character and a personality like him. So much passion and willpower. I just discovered him recently and I'm so glad I did. "Who do you think you are? I AM" Simply unforgettable. Coolest and most influential guy ever. His shots are excellent he knocks down all the pinballs in every turn. A true professional. "That's called sportsmanship pal!" "He moved again..." Unforgettable legend.

I always considered Pete a jerk. Classless to the end. He disrespected people, other bowlers and the game. Won't watch him at all. I didn't even watch this video. No need to subject myself to that.

Hey, thanks. Amazing work on your channel too. This, like the "Hide and Seek" movie was created in about an hour. (Script creation and filming) I had a problem with black spots on my lens, of course that I only noticed in post, so I wound up having to crop around it. Hence, why there was no scene of him actually picking up the note from the bush. I had gotten a shoulder rig, hoping it would cut down on the shakiness, but alas, when I tried to rack focus, it got quite shaky. This was actually filmed I believe a year ago, I just forgot to upload it. Recently I got a gravitational gimbal, I believe they're called(so no electronics), and a stabilizer vest that it hooks up to. Very fair price, as far as filmmaking equipment goes.
