It's actually amazing that this has the Carrera engine, just with larger displacement and no turbos. That rasp in the mid-range reminds me of the Mezger engines.

Great vid, thanks. Just ordered my Touring so this was helpful. I’ve heard the seat not going down far enough from multiple people so I hope they work on that. Same with the wheel

@@KitsCars Great, that is refreshing to hear. I have the stock Brembos/rotors on mine and I was extremely disappointed with how soft the pedal was, even so compared to my old 10th gen Accord. I’ll be jumping on this upgrade

Do you notice the front vents blow any weaker when.. 1) The vent selector wheel is set to only the front vents and 2) The rear vents are shut closed? I'm planning to install this as well, just worried if the front vents will blow weaker or not.

Bro this is terrible 😂 using dirty towels that will cause marring , way to close to the paint with the angle on it , then doing it in the sun while using a drying aid on a ceramic coated car 😂 it doesn’t need a drying aid dumb dumb just a quick detailer with ceramic 😂😂

Hey Kit! Loved the sound and thanks so much for sharing! I'm debating between the inconel and SS. Did u have a chance to compare the two? The Inconel is more expensive by a couple grands and im not sure if it's worth it. Would appreciate any insights if u have any, thanks!

Did you have any issues with the center console bin or is the type r bin a lot shallower than the normal models?

@@APS_Inc I didn't have any issues with the bin, plenty of clearance underneath. I've never taken apart an 11th gen other than Type-RS though

@@KitsCars is it possible to remove the rear fascia without removing the center console, or is it mostly a job done with the console out of the car? I could just remove it and see if there's a space underneath. I wonder if there's no space underneath, if it's possible to run it along the side of the console bin instead, rather than cutting into the center console bin.

that and the fact that they give you that dinky basic screen on all models of the civic sedan except the touring. All models should have a descent screen and come standard with Sirius XM. We're in 2024 not 2014.

Flat 6 sounds better than flat 4 and for some reason the 981 flat 6 sounds better than the 781 flat 6 stock. Once you start upgrading things the difference disappears.
