I'm using Spendor S100 now but want to change to the Tannoy Berkeley ...will it be an improvement🙏...also how do the Berkeley's compare to the Arden mk1❓

I own the Tannoy GR Sterlings. Found a dealer who gave me an incredible deal on them. They are the most beautiful speakers I have ever own. When my budget will allow, I hope to move up the GR line or go with the Cheviot speakers.

How do I get two replacement Concentric drivers for my Tannoy Revolution XT 8F’s , my NZ distributer is not very helpful and impossible to contact Tannoy directly. Also music tribe gave me all the wrong information Tannoy after sales is hard work so far

I've owned a variety of Tannoy speakers over a 40 year period and pound for pound, you will not get better sound quality than through a Tannoy Dual Concentric. What a shame that they are now in the hands of people who claim to understand sound but don't hear or appreciate it. Factory in Coatbridge closed, no R&D to speak of and the competition stepping in and stealing a march. Fyne Audio - if it looks like a Tannoy (driver) and sounds like a Tannoy then it probably is a ........... If you want to get sound in it' purest form go and buy a a Tannoy dual before they become obsolete unless the mob at Behringer can tell us otherwise. Ironic silence from an audio company??

How is a heavy 15 inch paper pulp cone expected to reproduce midrange frequencies with the speed and finesse of smaller, lighter, faster, rigid cones or electrostatic drivers. It can't and doesn't have the transparency or low level detail of such systems.

I'm selling my father's Berkeley's now as they are too big for my taste but they are incredible sounding speakers. Warm but detailed. I am one of the few people that prefers the HPD over the LSU!

Just recently added a Rel sub to my system and yes it did make a big improvement so much so I'm thinking of getting a second one. McIntosh c2600 McIntosh mc 275 monoblocked Tannoy Ardens legacy Rel s812 / soon to be two Lumin D2 with sbooster Equals Happiness.

TANNOY is a legend of sound, a real integrated manufacturer who can claim this title because the brand manufactures all its loudspeakers among the best in the audio industry, not Chinese! Beyond that TANNOY integrates its loudspeakers into beautiful wooden boxes with nice design. Today 80% of brands are only assemblers who have never made a single loudspeaker and do not give the name of the manufacturer (a mystery) . At TANNOY you do the "torture test" (or equivalent) as at JBL? Congratulations and do not change anything.
