Between pantograph forces and wind pressure, it’s interesting seeing the catenary poles wobbles after the train passes. I believe wire tension was increased for this test run.

800 amps is a ludicrous amount, a little more and the stators would have fused with the rotors.

@@sneeki8082 A major, who was criticized for not creating more parking spaces, replied: more parking spaces means bringing more cars here. Traffic problems exist because people were given cars. They have created false needs, agitation and all other evils. Action should be taken in this field: to stop the owerflow of these dangerous inventions on Earth. But no one has the power to fight the automobile industry.

260km/h was the speed of the original TGV. These trains are only ever going to go faster - the new TGV M sets coming online this year will push 350km/h, HS2 in the UK (whenever that's finished) will push 360km/h.

Most interesting; though for context, most of the record attempts made by trains historically were done while pulling a full train of passengers. (I bet SNCF could've charged basically anything they wanted for that [first passengers to experiance 300mph at ground level], had a longer train been possible)

The point that the crew was making is that while the train is customized - this is not a specialized track - it's a regular track, used daily for regular service. (As I myself pointed out, it's in TSW 2 - as is.) While you can't open it it up THAT far, the portion they used is part of your course in "High Speed Rain" - which is why I want that livery option. And considering that - other than it being Duplex - Liberty is the same train, it becomes why NOT Liberty Duplex?

An absolute recognition to those who laid those incredible tracks. Their almost perfect setting is the only thing keeping that train from becoming a 600 km/h fireball. And that catenary?, at 574 km/h? Jesus Christ. AWESOME job for the track engineers, hats absolutely off. Train is a cutie too, but hey, this is 50%-50%.
