Honestly! They were so well crafted, I mean I was a bit too young when SH came out so there is no nostalgia for me, and playing these games are a breathe of fresh air compared to some of the “get rich quick” schemes AAA game companies are releasing now 😅

@emfuji same here. My childhood was mostly xbox 360 but my brother made me play his old ps2 games and now they are literally my favourite games ever and will always be much more appreciated by people than anything these AAA companies produce now. It's pretty sad that they went from making iconic and amazing titles to absolute slop

Ya so I tried with a GBC cable because the games were intended to be traded through GB/GBC cable, but the issue is Real card to Real card traded no problem - only fakes couldn’t trade. So I recon it’s a bad copy.

What’s your opinion then to fix this? Recode that shit 😂 it’s failing checksums meaning it’s a bad fake. Which do exist, people should know that it’s not always a going to be a good thing when they spend 2 dollars on a Cart from temu lol

In this particular case I think it’s a checksum error, I’d have to tear it apart and look deeper in. That being said who knows with these cheapos

@@emfujiyou can just use a gamecube with picoboot and the gameboy player if you already have one! unfortunately though fake gb and gba games don’t work too well with dumping saves and roms

Sorry I should’ve made it more clear in the video, As Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow/Green/Gold/Silver/Crystal were designed for the Game Boy & Game Boy Color, they were not designed for the GBA Hardware. As such, they cannot detect GBA Hardware, including the link-cables. So I used a Game Boy Color generation cable when trading. I tested it with the Real to Real games and it worked. But wouldn’t work with the fakes

According to EBay, North of 470 canadian - 500 is the selling range this past week! So worth the few bucks to get it graded and sit on it

This cartridge is a fake and is only shown to demonstrate ways to spot a fake. I will be picking up a bunch of real cards shortly and demonstrating how great they are!

RIGHT! It’s incredible that no matter how many time they get taken down, you can still find them somewhere. From my experience, I’d prefer trying to find the real deal, since the games I’ve been demonstrating for education purposes don’t trade OR keep clock time (gen 2)
