I voted for Trump before but I can not and will never vote for a convicted felon. I also don't feel confident that just because Harris has a little bit of color to her that she automatically gets my vote. I am an independent and I am young college woman.

I also concur with George Washington that we don’t need monarchical rule. George Washington was so concerned about power in the hands of the few that he only wanted to be President for one term. It was with great reluctance that he ran a second term. Jefferson Davis, a graduate of West Point and a highly educated statesman, warned of the dangers of a federal government with too much power. When the states had their powers illegally taken by the federal government, Davis foresaw the corruption evidenced today. In his book, The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government, his discourse on power in the hands of the few could have easily been mistaken to have been written today as it so accurately describes the oligarchy in power now. Above all other concerns, each citizen should be outraged, outraged, that a presidential candidate was appointed and not elected. Never in the bloody and war torn history of this country has such an egregious act of anarchy been shoved down the throat of the American people.
