So glad they rethought this. Never liked the pas de trois they made of this in Misha's version. Isabella and James? Lovely musicality for a rehearsal.

So why don’t they make them like that in the first place?
@meepmeepmoopmoop309Күн бұрын
Because each dancer likes them different. Some like it not so broken in, others like it demolished. It’s to allow them to do it to their liking

You have to break point shoes so they fit better 👍
@rnd0mk1dd02 күн бұрын
It's something ballet dancers have to do with their point shoes other whise the shoes are to hard and uncomfortable and can cause you to not dance in them, it's apart of breaking the shoe in.
@Gregisdelicious2 күн бұрын
Hi hi hello, Ballet dancer here! Ballet dancers typically break in the shoe to 1. Make it more comfortable as the shoe is unbelievably hard because of the glue and fabric piled onto one another... and 2. To help fit the dancers foot. As I said earlier dancers typically break to shoe because the shoe is so hard from all the glue and breaking it would make it easier to dance. All adjustments are different for ever dancer. Hope this helps!!

You break them in too make them ready for dancing, it would be idiotic to do it for no reason.

I hope each and every member of the corps knows how important they are to the production, even if they aren’t performing a solo. The Entrance of the Shades is one of the most sublime scenes in all of the full length ballets, IMO! ❤🩰
