I didn’t buy anything for Black Friday b/c I was tapped for cash . But there was not that many releases I was interested in buying anyway so I save money. The one Kevin Costner movie I wish would come to 4K is dances with wolves but would they put the extended cut on 4K or theatrical? That’s the question. Or perhaps both

There’s always a lot of olive films releases on Hamilton book This video is a good idea. I might actually do an olive films collection as well but I have a whole lot to get through plus I might show some in my collection videos throughout the year for actors and actresses.

I’ll be probably doing a buying freeze as well in January because the way the Republicans want to cut disability social Security in half which I’m on will make it that much more difficult to buy things and pay Food , billsmy dogs insulin, and food it’s like I’m getting punished for no damn reason. So movies are the least on my list of priorities. I’ll probably be doing only collection videos for most of 2025 until I find out what is going to happen.

Great video Joe! I agree with you about "TRAP" the preview really sucked I thought, I don't know what's up with the director? I love his second film "unbreakable" the village and Signs were pretty good too, but after that I really don't like his other films, some of his films aren't rewatchable, because the conclusion just says it all and there's no point rewatching them? Great video, Joe! I’m a big fan of My Bloody Valentine, but I get why not everyone would be. That said, you echo my feelings on Trap (even though I’m a gigantic Shyamalan mark) and Maxxxine (that whole trilogy, with X being my favorite and Pearl my least favorite). Great reviews, man! Thanks for sharing. Edit: I’ll also not that I’m not the biggest fan of The Others. I did buy the Criterion 4K, but that’s because I’m an idiot, not because I love it, lol. Others, though, seem to love that movie (no pun intended), so it may be worth giving it another shot before selling!

When I got the upgrade to the steelbook case for the Halloween 2018 movies, I hadn't bought Halloween Ends yet which is why that one wasn't included in what I sent you. American Graffiti was also a steelbook upgrade as I saw the steelbook at Best Buy and it was actually the last physical media item I was able to buy at Best Buy before they stopped carrying it. You will LOVE Firestarter, the musical score by Tangerine Dream is AMAZING! Make sure you watch that this month! :) Watch the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 from that collection, it is SO much better than the theatrical version!

I figured I'd give you a rundown of the SF movies I have that you have and the ones you have that I don't have as well as the ones I have and you don't have: Here's the ones I have that you also have: Assault on Precinct 13 (I was lucky and got that one in a Steelbook edition), Escape From New York (not one of my Carpenter faves but I love Adrienne Barbeau! I don't have a slip cover for that one as I waited a long time to finally buy it), Firestarter (I do have the slip for that one!), The Fog (haven't upgraded to 4K yet but want to!), Friday the 13th Box Set, the Halloween 4Ks, Lawnmower Man (I do have the slip for it but not willing to part with it - sorry bud!), Misery (the bonus features on the SF version are awesome!), Prince of Darkness (still need to upgrade to 4K on this one), Silver Bullet (I just got the 4K of that one recently!), Starman (another one I just got recently), They Live (don't have it on 4K yet), Village of the Damned (not on 4K for me) and I have The Unborn which you used to have but you sold to me a while back :) Here's the ones you have that I don't have: 8MM, Big Trouble In Little China (keep meaning to get that one), Body Bags (meaning to get that one too though I have seen it on TV), Candyman (heard of it, not my cup of tea), Cobra (it's weird some of the titles that they put in the Scream Factory line), Critters (also not my cup of tea lol), Cyborg, Death Becomes Her (love that movie but don't own it), the Doctor Jeckyl movie, Dragonheart, The Fly Collection, Idle Hands, Mad Max (love it but don't own it yet), My Bloody Valentine (saw that in the 80s and didn't really like it), Nomads, The People Under The Stairs (still back and forth on getting this one), Species, The Strangers (I own it but not the SF version yet), The Thing (it's not one of my favorites either, it grossed me out as a little kid so it's hard for me to watch), Trick R Treat and the Vincent Price movies. Here are the other ones that I own that I'm surprised that you don't: April Fool's Day, Black Christmas, Carrie and The Rage: Carrie 2 (along with the amazing 2002 TV movie remake of Carrie), Cat People, The Dark Half (I actually have a second copy of that one that I'm going to give to you when I send you those movies we talked about; I bought it off of ebay without realizing I already had it and the seller wouldn't let me return it. It's really good and Stephen King so you will love it), The Dead Zone (you're also getting my Blu Ray of that one but I kept the awesome Blu Ray slip since the 4K weirdly didn't have one), Exorcist II and III (SF did an amazing 4K of III!), Ghost Story (a REALLY good movie that I saw as a kid and still love as an adult!), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (a classic!), King Kong (also a classic with Jessica Lange from 1976), Night of the Comet (I love that one!), Poltergeist II and III (really surprised you don't have those), Psycho II, III and IV(ditto!), Terror In The Aisles (I love having this one from SF as they have the theatrical and TV versions which are VERY different from one another! I watch this every October and still need to this year - that is on this weekend's agenda!), Terror Train (I LOVE this one with Jamie Lee Curtis and keep hoping SF or Arrow will do one for Prom Night too!) and Vice Squad (very, very violent but classic late 70s/early 80s horror) Also, I'm going to message you on FB about getting those movies to you. I can't believe I never made it to the post office yet to get those to you so I will make sure you get those before Halloween!!!

That’s a solid watchlist. I’m a huge fan of My Bloody Valentine, and Village of the Damned isn’t excellent, but it’s still pretty good. Definitely worth watching. I’m going to try to post something similar soon, and while I hit 31 movies last year, I just don’t see that happening again this year, lol. Good luck with your challenge to hit 31!

Great haul! That TLC album was my first ever CD I got when I was a kid. Great album. Awesome figs! And it was a rough weekend for college football…I’m a Michigan fan and we got embarrassed by a much better football team, and your Fighting Irish had a rough one as well! Fortunately in this new era of college football, I don’t think a single loss, especially this early in the season, is going to end our seasons anymore.
