It’s like that because that’s the millionth time we have heard it. Melodies that are predicted are lame, even vice versa where every note is unpredictable is lame (for most of the people). That’s why your fav song becomes a trash after listening for the whole day. In the next day the “surprise effect” doesn’t hit anymore as you have memorised it all.

This was taken out of context. In the actual interview, he never truly answered the question. He continually danced around and avoided directly answering the question.
