This song reminds me of an episode of Lieutenant Columbo with Johnny Cash playing a gospel singer! By the way, you all did a great job!!

Bioshock Infinite got me here. 4:14 is probably the most powerful verse of any song I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Thank you thank you. My dad taught this sad but wonderful song to me years ago when I was a boy. Years later when I became a performer, a partner and I sang it to many people.

As if I would ever learn the dobro part :-( I'll ask what's Leah Needham's tuning, low to high? Expecting it to be GBDGBD, but some folks are known to go off and tune it their particular way 🙂

I love a lot of banjio music and Apalachian music, but this repetition over repetition gives me a head ache. Great dancers but I can only do like 2 minutes at a time.

So many cultures came to the USA and mixed their homelands tradition in song and dance. Americwn folk dancing is unique, but if you study it, you will see its roots in many nations.

Would sound a bit better if they wore Lancashire Clogs like I wore when I was 10 yrs old. Bit of a soft shoe shuffle in comparison to true cloggers. 4:49

Again my pure admiration. All great vocalist, but Tyler's vocal range is purely awesome. My sincere admiration for all involved on the stage. Thanks again.

I haven’t listened this in too long of a time. I don’t know what Leah is doing now. The banjo player, Haley Stilner, has been playing in the Navy’s country band, Country Current, for quite a few years.
