Beautiful work. I have a hardware question. My last build used a Tune-O-Matic bridge which required a 3 degree neck slope to compensate for the bridge height. My next build is a neck through and I'd like to avoid sloping the neck if possible. Your bridge looks like a perfect choice. What is it? Thanks and keep up the great work.

I cant stop watching. How did you learn to use your shopsmith so well? I don't think I have seen a better series of demonstrations on all of the functions in a more practical and enjoyable way. You may be the first person to ever wear one out.

@WoodworkingforAnyone six should be long enough for a fretboard. Just use the 8 coz the iron is sharper that time.

I'm just stunned. This is my complete set up. You cant imagine how specifically helpful this is lol. Id you ever need anything for your shopsmith especially the weird little random parts let me know. Fantastic work and phenomenal playing! A question on your build: Did you incorporate a neck break angle? I'm planning a neck-through build with a floyd rose like you did here, but I'm unsure if I need to try to angle the neck portion back ~2deg, or if I can plan that into the fretboard, or if it can all be left flat and adjusted in the bridge. Whatever way you went seems to have left you with a very playable guitar.
@DinoKintanar884 ай бұрын
You don't need a break angle for floyd rose, it is super low and recessed to the body.

First off, you did a remarkable job building a gorgeous instrument. Thanks for posting... Secondarily, I normally would mute background tracks to videos like this...but when I realized it was an extended Watchtower jam, I actually had to pull a guitar out, crank the video through my stereo, and jam along. Killer man!
