I think the guy driving the self loader should be the first guy at the Landing and the first guy on the job making sure all the equipment is lubricated and fueled and ready to go. That's what would probably make sense is why he's early

Drunk on the job. I grew in logging trucks. A lot of the guys that hauled logs in the same cutbacks as my dad would usually be drunk, and sometimes would passout in the truck drunk and spend the night in the bush. A lot more common than one would like to believe
