Honestly points with flats early in the morning are best in June. After it heats up in the day move to mouth of coves.

June can be tough. Several small fish will school up and are easy to catch on ned rigs and dropshot but the bigger fish usually start moving to the timber.

How you-are fishing? Why don’t you talk about the bait in the technique that you were using? How are you rigging the worm? What colors should you be using? Thank you new to bass fishing.

Thanks for the comment. That was 2 different days and we caught them on several different baits but the one that seemed to get the most bites was a light texas rigged plum finesse worm. The setup was 1/8th weight, 2/0 worm hook, 8lb fluorocarbon line and med fast action spinning rod. They also like green pumpkin if the water is a little dingy and a Ned rigged TRD. Thank you and yes. Let it sink all the way down to the top of the trees or to the bottom and then burn it as fast as you can up.

Good video. We were over there at that time. We did decent early in the morning around trees on a buzzbait. Then fished poles later in the day. Good luck next time on the water.

Hey Jackson I was fishing on the edge of the river channel above trees in about 60’ of water and casting towards shoal markers most of the time. I also fish drop offs near shoal markers over 40’ of water casting to the shoal. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

I caught a few near the dam on a spoon just off a river channel. I would imagine they would be about the same near there. Look for bait over 60’ of water near the main channel.
