All his life, he has only worked to collect commission from selling labor hours; poor guy only knows counting the hours, it will not be possible for him to appreciate the value of quality.

My sister has been working in US for the past 13+ years. She made a decent salary..she bought several items for us...paid my clg fees...her marriage expenses etc. Being a spendthrift...she couldn't save much...or invest. Few months back...she was asked to resign... stating that they had no projects left to offer. She is just 36... recently became a mom...her husband earns well in Amazon...but very busy and stressed....they have emi on home..car...which cost 8cr..and 1cr... respectively. They always tried to live above their means ....just to suit the circle around them. Whatever it is...i have seen them personally. They are not happy! Always fights...issues...tensions... pressure... insecurity...doubts and suspicions...not able to trust their own family...and lots of health issues including bp.. diabetics..pcos... obesity...what not!! I understand money important. But not worth ur health and life! I have seen ppl earning 50-60k....being soo happy...even they build their own house..they buy cars too....may not cost crores....but at least they are satisfied and happy..bcoz its not on loan. IT is truly over hyped. Salaries are inflated. I made a decision not to go for IT. Im happy even with a teaching career. But I can't take that kind of life ! She visits india once in 2 yrs....and all 10-15 days she keeps fighting... stressing around....being upset about everything! Mental health is gone!

My experience - If your client is an Indian in US, your work life will be hell, they'll demand extra working hours and would expect you to complete tasks in short periods of time. This is a bit lenient in case your client is a white (US national). They will expect the work to be completed in time but won't force you to work extra hours

Two Managers were walking through a jungle. They saw a hungry Tiger..! One of the guys started tightening his shoe laces, getting ready to run.. The other asked, "Do you really think you can run faster than the tiger..?" He replied, "I don't have to run faster than the tiger.. I just have to run faster than you..!" That's today's Corporate World..! 😜😜😜😜😜😜😂😂😂

Edu tech is a fanciful term But, content or intellectual wise big zero. Knowledge comes from reading good books , intellectual meditation , discipline and good parenting. Not from IT.

Corporate world is built on the foundation of perceptions. You might be diligent / honest / skilled than others at the job.But your importance in the corporate world is purely based on the perceptions others carry about you. Reality of corporate world is - - However poorly skilled at work you are but you have managed to build good web of perceptions then you could survive. - You are poorly skilled but lack EQ to manage web of perceptions; you are a liability. - You are skilled at your work managed good web of perceptions then you are retained. - You are skilled at your work but unable to manage good web of perceptions then you suffer. - You are exceptionally skilled at your work but unable to manage good web of perceptions then you are tolerated. - You are exceptionally skilled at your work & managed good web of perceptions then you are on growth.

Even Autowalas and Kannada govt do politics in Bengaluru. We should not live in Bengaluru because it is outside India. Company politics is nothing.

I'm a good developer but my manager is not a good techie she don't understand how tech works which is very frustrating for me. Sometimes she says complicated task to do in an hour or stuff. She has lot of ego issues if I say I can't she remember it and speak rudely in next meeting. Clearly this is a extremely toxic environment
