Who is the guy that's teaching? He is very good. I think this is a great way to teach people. Instead of teaching people about the movements, teach them why and how the movement came about. This will help them digest the movement better. Great stuff!

Very important and good video, I’ve seen numerous athletes do this, ranging from international level to beginner. I injured my knee from poor knee setup for inside 540. Now I practice certain basics very slowly many times to try to perform “correct” knee movements.

Hello, should the feet on Ma Bu be pointed forward, or open 30 degrees? I've seen people do it both ways and I don't know which would be correct. Or does it depend on style and family? Thanks

Hi, at 0:45 I see that knees should not go over toes, but at 2:39 they do go over toes, don't they?

Could you explain the leg position a little more at 2:49 please. I feel If I see it from the top down I would better understand. Is it straight back behind or slightly out to the side ? It doesn't appear to be straight to the side.

Thank you for putting in the pin yin tones, and characters! I’m happy to finally see how these are actually written and pronounced - lord knows we’ve made a mess of the pronunciations in my English only class :)

This is not work of women. How do they dare to do these things (men's worrks)? The women who practise this should be rapppd by thrustiing swords in their asssholes.

You bet. I caught a pubalgia due to taolu training that favored one side for Pu Bu. I had to stop several years. It is only with proper bodybuilding training that I could solve the problem -- more or less.

It is also very common in "low level" wushu and it is a rampant problem with the most basic pu bu stances!
