Not the best but much better than cages. I would suggest something to keep them busy inside.

This Is Awesome For The 4 Legged Friends

I used to work in a kennels/cattery and can say I prefer the cage free ideal to that of the small kennel design that I used to work around - it was a very stressful environment for both those working there and the dogs (not so much the friendly ones, but definitely for those that weren't fond of other dogs). However, I don't know how I would feel about having the dogs together in large groups 24/7 throughout the day (minus feeding). I could imagine it could be quite stressful for some dogs? Having no space/time to themselves with their own beds and toys? What about if you had two dogs for example that really didn't get on? It's an interesting idea and I suppose would work wonderfully for friendly and sociable dogs, but something else is needed for those with a little more of a risky temperament it seems. Great video nonetheless - was awesome to see around the facility!

I love this! I started my pet sitting company 5 years ago, we are finally at the point of looking to establish a in house boarding facility! You have done a wonderful job at keeping it easy for the staff and comfortable for the animals! Cheers from Washington

Quiyamma Hughes if you didn't know dogs are like kids and babies. They do almost everything kids do. And they actually do like to play on those.

those plant hooks looks like a dog that jumps could get caught on them.... I don't think I would put a dog in that situation . I have large dogs and I had 2 of my dogs get into a fight I couldn't get them apart.... what would happen if they had a sudden fight? the baby sitter could be killed and most likely a dog or two. I bet after a day there the dog would smell like pee.

2011sliverdude A good daycare facility won't accept a dog without a detailed questionnaire and temperament test. I would never go to one that did not ask for both.

Hi Laura. That 'character' is Kuma, an Akita. We don't get very many Akita's at Dog Daycare, simply because in our experience, they tend to be a one-owner dog, and unless the owners have socialized them well from a young age (as they obviously have with Kuma), they don't tend to do well in group dog atmospheres. That being said, Kuma (and another we have that comes named Nicki) do really well with us. Thanks for asking! ~Cheryl~

To find the article visit the link that I've now added in the 'video description' above. (Below the video, click on 'show more' and you'll find it.) I hope this helps. Please don't panic. Just the fact that you are aware and asking the questions, shows that you are ahead. Many people don't notice the lumps until they are 'huge' and demanding attention. You're a great pet parent, and it will all work out. Please keep me posted. Hugs ~Cheryl~ from DogGuru.ca and HolidayPetCare.ca

First of all, to give yourself peace of mind, I would suggest that you take a look at the whole article I wrote for my Video Ezine, that originally accompanied this video. You will have to scroll down a fair bit to find the article, however within it are links to pictures of each type of lump/bump that I discuss in the article. You can take a look at those pictures and description to help you to see what it is you are looking at with your dog.

Hello and thanks for your question. This is Cheryl from DogGuru.ca here. (I'm the one in the video) I'm glad to hear you are getting them evaluated by your vet, because even though most lumps and bumps usually prove to be no issue at all, there are indeed 'harmful' versions of every lump and bump you can find. (more info & link to follow in next 'reply')

My chihuahua developed a small pimple last yr. I took her to the vet for a regular checkup and the vet said they would have to give her anestesia remove it and send to a lab but he said it appeared to be harmless since she doesnt itch it. Fast forward to today and she has 4 more of those same bumps in different areas. I cant afford to get them evaluated until next month. Can anyone PLEASE help with any experience or knowledge on the subject? I can send pics or upload them here.

Wow, a 6 foot fence... that's quite an accomplishment! We've only ever had one husky that we had to keep on leash in the backyard due to their extraordinary jumping abilities.

Thanks Colleen & John. Did you see the pictures in the video of us up at your beautiful piece of paradise last summer?!? Thank you for having us there to create such amazing memories! (Maybe not so wonderful memories for the poor chipmunks who were barked at constantly ;-) Who was to know it would be her last summer. Love and Gratitude, Cheryl

It is indeed a tough thing to lose our amazing pets that live way-to-short lives. Thank you for letting me know that the video touched your heart. My sincere condolences for your loss as well. I am just now moving into the stage of celebration for her life. I hope you are able to do the same thing for your sweet Sophie. It was wonderful for me to go through all the video and pictures I had of Delilah, which reminded me of what an amazing creature and teacher she was. Blessings, Cheryl
