I picked the set up to build it with my child this holiday season because he really wanted it. Honestly my only complaint about it is it should have came with 8 reindeer not 4.

Only 3 units of each, but while the deathwing knights are taken in squads of 5 the ICC can be taken as squads of 3 or 6

So I'm getting into Warhammer 40k. How come there are weird restrictions on what can be played with what? If I wanted to make a weird army with five different legions, am I allowed?

Not really, if the models have the chapter specific keywords, such as Deathwing Knights or ICC, then you can only take other models with the same Dark Angels keyword. You wouldn't be able to take other characters or chapter specific models, but you can take the non-chapter specific units from the Space Marine Codex. I think they have the restrictions to keep armies thematic if you're taking one of the specific chapters.

It's similar in size to other commanders battlesuits like the Coldstar, but it's not a large model even compared to other Tau suits. It's in-between the crisis suits and the ghostkeel. Much smaller than an imperial (or chaos) knight.

Nice review man! Really glad they went back to the smaller size for this ship line in 2007 Not crazy about the Maul minifigure though he looks very strange without pupils

Thanks for watching! It's a nice sized ship, really hits the sweet spot for detail while not being too large. I agree that Maul would look better with pupils, like he had in the Duel on Mandalore set. I got this set for the ship though so the minifigure doesn't bother me as much.

nice video. picked up 2 boxes with a discount at a local game store. so no extras for me. (bought me as an "extra" 40 translucent dice in 2 colours with 2 bags at a dice only shop) one box is for the pile of shame. the other is for spearhead. i try to sell the additional skaven and stormcast to get a good price for the spearhead rest and the core book. will start with the build when i have sold the 8 stormcasts and 24 skavens... 🙂

Great video, very informational. With the building connectors, is there any other sets that they could connect to? Sort of like a mix and match of buildings? This could be used to make a more interesting and unique town square style. Thank you!
