Cuánta diferencia de tonos, y eso que los dos son Jazz Bass. Buen video y buena tocada!

I have both. To me the J basses by themselves sound warm full and pleasing.Stingrays not so much. Kind of quacky and a little harsh. But in the mix the Stingray wins. Especially in a live situation. It sounds fat clear and it cuts. Except for slapping. For that I still prefer the J.

how do you get that tone???? i’m a beginner so i don’t know much about how to configure my bass tones 😅😅😅
@bajocuerdasАй бұрын
Hi jarreals, thanks por ask, i reall make it simple just a little bit of compresion with Cali76 and pre amp ToneHammer Aguilar, the rest of the sound i think is try several times to close vintage sound and warm sound

I have an American Standard Precision Bass and a Pro II Precision Bass. The Pro II Has a more even response across the fretboard than the American Standard. Tone wise the Pro II is warmer sounding in a good way. The neck feels great. Since I have both I have no need to be biased.

what do you think about replacing the vmod 2 pickups for pure vintage 63 on the pro 2?
@jolepage65792 ай бұрын
also..do you think the bridge metal cover for p bass will fit on the american pro 2??
@bajocuerdas2 ай бұрын
Hi friend! I d say there could be a great change in your instrument, this pickups are great but i like more vintage tones so i recomend you to try and if you don´t like, let downgrade to the v mod i ll record another video with jazz bass am pro2 to take a look for more examples

Great playing. what are the strings on each bass? Looks like AM Pro II has rounds and standard has flats. If so do you think the AM pro is less high end oriented?
@bajocuerdas4 ай бұрын
thanks!, yes, you got it, rounds on Am pro II and Thomastik on Am Standard, I think hte sound in Am Pro is wider and open but for a little bit more vintage i think the pickups on Am Standard fit well, they are very similar but i have to say, the A Pro II neck is amazing, if you hace the chance, try it
