Amen, Pastor Susie! So many unbelievers say that like it’s a bad thing. Personally, I can’t imagine going through some of the things I have without God and the church by my side.

Good notes, thank you! If God says "speak", then speak. If God calls you to ANYTHING in His name, do it. Obey in love. It doesn't matter what your chromosomes are, we are the same in Christ. In all that we do, Make it Holy

Thank you. You are right that the complimentarians are loud. It's because they seem to have specific verses to back them up. But they fail, like you said, to read the whole Bible and see how Jesus really felt about it. If they used the same tactics on divorce they should never allow anyone to divorce and remarry unless adultery is involved. But, no, they claim Jesus only set that as an ideal. Then why don't they look at women in ministry within context?

Amen all by myself I hear u pastor Bob. I'll see u in church Sunday. I definitely trust him but I need to hear that to remind me that i need to prove it to him for sure. I've missed this month. I feel the difference in myself and see the difference in my life when I go n when I don't go on Sundays. ❤

Paul writes the women should pray and prophesy - but not lead and teach - you ead thsi and clearly the cultural times dictated this position. The real question should be, who decides which is now allowable due to "cultural" changes from biblical times and that certain admonitions no lionger apply? A slippery slope to be sure.

The culture has nothing to do with it. I suggest my free informal essay on Deborah (Judges 4 and 5). This is where you start. Any teaching that opposes Deborah, has to be a false teaching. She is the precedent. I'm not a big fan of Paul. But that is another essay.

Such a great filter for life’s choices!! Is this wise… …based on my history? …based on my current circumstances? …based on my future hopes and dreams?
