The rear seat is the deal breaker, too bad. The problem of this TNGA platform is that they are too general it becomes limited. this rear seat is reduced because this TNGA will accomodate also to southeast asians whom typically are smaller persons, and has smaller roads, that is why that rear seat is cramped for Americans.

I don't know how long you've been doing this, but you do it well. Your presentation flows. Nice job. I ride a 2015 K1600GT. I also have a 2022 Street Glide that I thought I needed. I prefer the BMW for so many reasons, but primarily because it's so much more dynamic. It's a better riders bike. Each time I visit the local dealer, I imagine myself selling both bikes to get the Grand America. To me, it's like a blend of the two bikes I already own, and I love the way it looks. I know it's not measurably better than my 2015, though. And, I do enjoy the Street Glide for relaxed rides. My guess is the K bikes won't be produced too much longer, and the way Harley is going, who knows. I may have two collector's items on my hands. :)

Both cars are truly amazing. I had an EN with a stage 2 ECU for almost two years and traded for a 5N. What's crazy about the 5N is that all systems stay cool at all times - battery, motors, brakes and the car pretty much never loses it's composure. I always felt that the brakes were my biggest obstacle on the EN due to getting too hot. Also engine/oil temps crept up to 248°F.

Elantra N is a performance bargain, can't say that about the Ioniq N. I think the Ioniq is amazing but if you don't track it, the Model 3 Performance is a better value performance EV. The new 500e models are simply not selling at all with some local dealers showing large static inventories. I actually really like the experience driving my first edition 2013 500e, Perfect as a zippy, short range, power consumption efficient local runabout using out level 2 home charger. We have taken it on a couple of close to max-range trips but were planning on staying at a level 2 EV charging dense destination for a few hours hours before coming back so they were a breeze. Even after 11 years and 82000 miles the max battery range is still around 95% of the original. I suspect between liquid battery cooling and not having DC fast charge this may have helped preserve capacity but have no hard evidence one way or the other. I was considering upgrading to one of the new models but certainly don't want to plunk down the $34K so I will plod along in the old but cute 500e (Orange with cream leather interior) until the battery range decides to plunge. Then I have a choice of a 3 year warrantied recon exchange battery pack for $7500 (we have a facility just 15 miles away) -or- bite the bullet and see if there are any slightly used 500e new models out there ... but of course that may be a challenge if nobody is buying one :( Alternatively I have seen a few 500e $99 a month leases available ...

Wow! This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I would really like to get this 500e for a long term (week long) test but may wait until spring to request it as the winter in WI will certainly have a negative impact on the range. But dang! What you've done in yours is pretty awesome. I know that orange color and I would venture to guess you do not pass any other ones on the road. So you have a bit of a unicorn there. This little 500e (supposedly way roomier than yours though!) is actually a fun car. And you're right...perfect for a city or short distance runabout. What more do you really need?! Congrats and keep that thing rolling!!

@@WeAreMotorDriven I recently noticed another 2013 Orange Fiat finishing up charging nearby and spoke to the owner about his experience. He had the black leather interior and was lamenting that he too used to have the same model with the cream leather but it was totaled after a serious accident with a big-rig tanker the year before. Apparently the wreck was so bad that the big rig driver was hospitalized but he simply walked away as the little Fiat was simply shunted off the road, significantly crumpled but the passenger compartment and battery pack were reinforced enough to avoid any issues. One piece of advice was before exiting the 500e was he lifted the rear seat cushion and opened a battery access port to remove the main battery fuse deactivating the pack.

Much more natural, or at least what we're used to from standard auto transmissions. This engine (hybrid with 243hp) definitely feels down on power from the Hybrid Max that you can get in the Platinum Crown (240hp). There is a size/weight difference between the models as well, which certainly doesn't help, but this Crown Signia is really encroaching on Lexus territory!
