Undistinguishable candies with distinguishable children: Think in terms of dividers for the children and of wholes to fill in between the candies. The other way around (distinguishable candies with undistinguishable children): Use the distinguishability of the candies to make the kids distinguishable by giving them the first round of candies, that will transform the problem into an exponential problem (of the first type). Duck yeah!!

You should think in terms of dividers of the candies!!

I see! Sack A cannot be possible because there is no amount of money less than $0, and the median is $0, which means (because there's an odd number of envolopes,) that the 501st number is $0 as well as all the ones before that. Which means no matter what $0 is gonna be the mode!

I like how I paused the video and got 104 in like 10 seconds cuz I'm taught on AoPS and he's like "Yeah, I bet my Prealgebra students got this much sooner and didn't have to add all these numbers ..." And oh my gosh you were right.

shouldn't you have taken in to account that an E followed by an W cancel away, because if you are able to do that a different amount of times in a diferent edge, you would have infinite ways, so maybe if you just count the ways to put NW or SW in the space given and then count the rearangment of the rest of the direcctions. correct me if i am wrong. Nice video, keep it up!!
@luisvercet997719 күн бұрын
And of course take also into account the NS or SN, that also cancel out
