Even your body is not fat friendly because overweight is unhealthy for it! Some benches can't support my weight even if I'd bench press with an empty barbell. I'd rather have to floor press the bench with someone like you sitting on it... To construct something more heavy duty of course require better constructions and more materials, which make it more expensive! Are you 7 feet tall or some kind of Ms Olympia underneath all of that cushioning since 220 lbs is too light of a weight for you?
