Decent offensive center, but won’t see much time from thibs with those foul troubles and lack of defensive awareness/intensity

Main problems I see are 1. He rushes his shots a lot especially at the rim but also when dealing with a close out on the perimeter 2. He fades way too much on his jump hooks 3. He doesn’t play off two feet consistently but rather tries to score off one foot a lot which is more reminiscent of a guard He shows flashes of doing these things correctly but it’s not nearly consistent enough at this point He just needs to work on being more consistent with “good habits”

Reminds me of Ewing Olajuwon Randle combo he’s pretty quick too a little raw and sloppy at times but I think Thibs can do wonders with him LGK

Positives: huge and long, moves well, reasonably athletic, good conditioning, good basketball IQ on both ends and good form on jump shot. Negatives: needs to get stronger, no post moves, no dribble moves, no shooting touch on post shots/layups, butter-fingers with the ball, jump shot is slow and inaccurate. This guy look like a solid NBA rotation big if he just adds some strength. Not an offensive force unless he can improve his shooting touch and butterfingers but a solid defensive and rebounding big. Could easily replace Jacob Poeltl in 2 years.

If he has good defend, he will last long enough in the nba to improve his offense.

A lot of that was hard to watch, but he has all of the tools. He needs to learn fundamentals, a go-to move and he needs time to grow into his body. Right now he's lacking coordination. His feet and hands move fast, but he doesn't have shot preparation. It seems like he's one-track-minded while waiting for the play to unfold. He has some Jonathan Isaac mixed with Amare Stoudemire potential from what I saw there. Definitely an intriguing prospect. He could be Bruno or he could be Giannis.

yeah, he has some amazing instincts defensively. He could definitely be a game-changer someday. It's easy to rack up blocks when everyone is taking underhanded layups at the net. In the NBA people will go under the rim on the other side, they'll shoot a floater, they'll pull up . the biggest saving grace is htat he doesn't seem to bite on shot fakes, but as competition improves, he'll probably struggle with those sorts of things. He'll need years of seasoning on the 905, just to re-learn the game at the very least, because that was hot trash basketball. He's using his instincts and he's reactive, but offensive players are so talented that he'd get picked on and cooked in the NBA. Forget James Harden, Van Vleet would absolutely undress him.

Analysing his playstyle here, he has a nice 3 point shot that will easily apply to actual nba but he’s also 6”11 but struggles with touch around the rim, hopefully playing with giannis would improve his finishing ability and self creation at the rim, he could also be a nice 3&d forward but has to play BIG to be versatile enough to play at the 5 and guard from 2-5

Any team who choose Ryan will not miss, has enough ball handler for post up game, quick 1st step to make advantage attacking the rim, amazing foot work, defense and effort. Mgobo, Phillipowski, DaRon, Edey not even close of his potential
