I cried when I saw him. This guy has been a huge inspiration for me for literally years. I haven't seen or heard anything from or about him in so long. It was like seeing your old highschool best friend again after many many years. I just wanted to give him a huge hug! He still has that charisma, that humour, and I love how he's still getting tattoos (I noticed some have been covered up by 'black-out' style which is very interesting, I wonder why?) and he's in his 50s and still stretching his ears etc. he looks great, he looked tired don't get me wrong (mans been through a lot), but he's just become this wonderful 'elder goth' artist. Massive plus he's not grown into an a-hole unlike many....he's still the Dirge we always loved.

It's a shame that Brent Spiner's book was not translated into French and then released in France because I would have loved to read it, I love Brent Spiner. I am French.

Imho even a lot of hard core Kubric freaks don't dig Barry Lyndon all that much. Having said that, and despite MM's view of the man, my God could he have pulled off a mind bending adaptation of a MM work.

The average Lenore experience is definitely being stoned as hell while watching both Strawberry Shortcake and the 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre all at once while also tripping on LSD

My mother told me that she was prescribed a pint of guinness per day when she was pregnant with me... After 3 decades of drink and drug abuse, I now prescribe myself a pint of Guiness per day as a replacement. Make of this what you will!

Endlessly fascinating, and never dull to listen to, I ,for one ,would love to see him become a regular feature on Forbidden Planet TV. He should be celebrated as a national treasure .The next time you get him on, in the new year, could you ask him to talk about Mervyn Peake and " The Gormenghast Trilogy."?

ONLY thing I forgot to say re BATTLER was that I CAME INTO CONFLICT with the bosses and branded a Red because I refused to write anti-German scripts for WW2, which I felt maintained in those days conflict between us.

I wonder if the concluding event of the book was its genesis, was it derived from original solutions to launching ark ships, how on earth could these ark ships be launched from sol system? Then the concept was dropped but reimagined as the finale of the book. The whole first will be last et et cetera.
